I spotted several sparrows having a grand time eating these blossoms. The flowers certainly looked good enough to eat, and I almost wanted to try it myself.
After all, it's certainly a way to feel at one with the season.

Wow. Amazing color. Yes, nice birdie, too, but that PINK! =)
It *is* quite a color, isn't it? And when I see a magenta like that, it reinforces the fact that flamingos aren't pink at all--more a peach or tangerine color. (Why do I think of flamingos, you might ask? I *always* think of flamingos...)
Great shot of that white-throated female, looking as if to say, wow, spring! Not here, sob.
