Worth two in the hand, methinks, since they do not fare well in our clumsy hold. Lovely photo of this vivid white-throated sparrow. A better holiday ornament than most.
Thanks! Yes, I am very much in favor of keeping the birds in the hedges and my hands free for photography. :)
Since putting out a bird feeder, we are seeing a few more unusual birds. Alas, we go away next week though--just as the earth is hard as a rock.
