Flamingo Friday: Preening Positions

I love the curves and colors of preening flamingos, and the way that their gorgeous, multi-hued feathers ruffle up from their usually-sleek backs like the petals of apple blossoms swept up in the wind.

Okay, so I can’t describe it; let’s see you try.

{A note: I do write all text and take all pictures. Please do not reproduce either without my permission.}

lovely! It is exciting when they fluff it all up, and then it gently settles down. SO BEAUTIFUL! =) I like when I pick up one of my chickens, put her down, then she SHAKES and FLUFFS out, to get the human cooties off, and realign-to-perfection their fabulous feathers. =) I liked your description.

Their colors never cease to amaze me. And your descriptions, too.
